This was my first major Political Cartoon. Montgomery's Mayor Folmar was a real piece of work. He fancied himself as a real maverick and single handedly did everything a person could do to push the city back into the dark ages. We had a new civic center in downtown Montgomery and the biggest money making events ever hosted there were rock concerts. This bozo couldn't stand the thought of all the young people actually gathering in one place and having fun so he marshaled his storm troopers and sealed the doors, turned on the lights, stopped the music and searched everyone. Needless to say several young people were busted and we never had rock concerts again. Just by word of mouth this poster sold thousands. I think I still have 10 or 12 of the original print run for sale...
